In addition to tax relief, KOZ status gives tenants priority consideration for state assistance under state community and economic development programs as well as community building initiatives.

The Green Acres Industrial Park is on generally level land. Approximately 100 acres are graded and prepared with access road, water and sewer lines. The subdivision of the lots is up to the tenants discretion.

Serving the electricity needs of the park is PPL Utilities with a three-phase 12,000-volt service. The Nesquehoning Borough Authority provides water with eight, ten and sixteen inch mains. A 27 million gallon reservoir is located north of the park. Kovatch Enterprises Water Co. also provides water with a 500,000-gallon water tank, served by wells. The Nesquehoning Borough serves the sewerage needs of the park providing a 12-inch line with three-unit sewerage capacity. Alltel provides telecommunications with a new switching station built in the park.

Transportation is easily accessible to the park, with highways, airways and railroads. Green Acres is adjacent to PA Route 54, and PA Route 309 is only five miles west. Interstate 81 is eight miles west and Interstate 476 is 12 miles east. The Carbon County Airport, The Hazleton Airport and the Lehigh Valley International Airport are all only a short drive away.

Businesses currently located in Green Acres Industrial Park include: Heritage Art Galleries, LTD, Crystaline Bus & Rail, Inc., Viking Injector, Inc., Liquid Fence Co., Northeast Pharmacy, Inc., and Carbon County Economic Development Corporation - Industrial Multi-Tenant Building #1.

The park's boundaries are Broad Mountain to the north, C&S Railroad to the south, Kovatch Enterprises to the east and Lake Hauto to the west.
