The Carbon County Economic Development Corp. - Bldg. #1 is located in Green Acres Industrial Park. It is a 40,000 square foot, one story high building with 22-foot ceilings.

Air conditioning is available in the building and there are four loading docks, one in each bay. The land area is five acres and is generally level. The building is located in a tax-free Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ). KOZ designated sites enjoy tax-free status until December 31, 2010. KOZ areas are a partnership between each community and region among state and local taxing bodies, school districts, economic development agencies and community-based organizations.

PPL Utilities provides electricity with a three-phase, 12,000-volt service; they also provide gas upon request. The Nesquehoning Borough Water Authority provides water in eight, ten or sixteen inch lines and the Nesquehoning Borough provides sewerage through a twelve-inch line. Alltel, Inc. serves the telecommunications needs with a new switching station.

Transportation is easily accessible by highways, airways and railroad. Interstate 81 is eight miles west and PA Route 54 is only ½ mile away. I-476 is just twelve miles to the east. The Lehigh Valley International Airport, The Carbon County Airport and The Hazleton Municipal Airport are all only short drives from the building. C&S Railroad is located at the park's southern boundary, and can provide service to the building.
