Carbon County has several properties that offer tax-free KOZ status:
- Packerton Yards
The Packerton Industrial Site is situated in the Borough of Lehighton and Mahoning Township, in Carbon County. The site is zoned for industrial use and is designated a Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ). KOZ status allows for more than tax exemption.
- Green Acres Industrial Park
Green Acres Industrial Park is situated within the Borough of Nesquehoning, two miles west of the town center. The park is adjacent to PA Route 54, and just east of beautiful Lake Hauto. The park is zoned for industrial use and is designated a tax-free Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ). There are 635 acres available for tenants, all of which are KOZ.
- Multi-tenant Building
The Carbon County Economic Development Corp. - Bldg. #1 is a 40,000 square foot, one story high building with 22-foot ceilings.
- McAdoo Industrial Park
The McAdoo Industrial Park is situated in Banks Township, Carbon County. The park is zoned for industrial use and is designated a Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ).
- South Carbon Business Park
The South Carbon Business Park is located on Little Gap Highway, in Lower Towamensing Township. The park is designated a tax-free Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ).
- Semanoff Property
The Semanoff Property is located on Stanley Hoffman Boulevard, along Route 209 in the downtown Lehighton area. This property has several assets, including its designation as a tax-free Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ), which make it an attractive site for businesses to move into.
