Wages and workforce
The hardworking and dedicated workforce may be the most outstanding feature of Carbon County. The majority of the population is of working age, which means there are no shortages of workers. Most of the wages in Carbon County nicely complement the cost of living, which is lower than in many areas. This makes the area an attractive place for businesses to locate. Other attractive features for businesses are the decreasing taxes and programs such as Keystone Opportunity Zones (KOZs).
